Tyrexpo Asia 2007, which was held earlier this month in Singapore, drew 9% more attendees than the last time the convention was held in 2005.
In addition, visitors came from 88 countries compared to 73 countries two years ago.
At the same time, 125 exhibitor stands were booked for 2007 versus 95 at the 2005 show. Total exhibition space booked was 6,500 square meters compared to 5,200 square meters in 2005.
"We believe that Tyrexpo Asia really came of age this year," says Rowena Suthers, sales director for ECI International, the convention's organizer.
The next Tyrexpo Asia show will be held March 24-26, 2009, in Singapore.
