Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently broke ground on a 200,000-square-foot addition to its tire manufacturing plant in Gadsden, Ala.
The Gadsden plant can produce 15,000 passenger and 10,000 light truck tires per day at capacity, according to Modern Tire Dealer research.
"While we aren't prepared to announce all of the details of our investment plans for Gadsden, we have started construction on the project," says a Goodyear spokesperson.
