Treadways Corp. has announced that prices on Sumitomo brand tires will increase from 2% to 4%, effective Oct. 1. Increases will vary by line.
Several tire companies will raise their prices on Oct. 1.
Hankook Tire America Corp. will raise prices by up to 4% on its full line of passenger, high performance and light truck tires.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. (up to 4%), Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. (3.5%) and Continental Tire North America Inc. (up to 6%) also will raise consumer tire prices on Oct. 1.
