Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) has rolled out the Bridgestone L320 on/off-highway medium truck tire for drive applications. It's available in three sizes: 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 (both in G and H load ratings) and 12R22.5 in a load rating of H.
The tire uses 31/32-inch tread depth for extra tire life and an enhanced compound that reduces heat build-up, according to BFNT officials.
It also contains a special block tread, open shoulders, four steel belts and stabilizing tie bars that become part of the tread pattern as the tire wears down.
