For the eighth year in a row, ALLDATA LLC provided resources and judging for the SkillsUSA Automotive Service Technology National Championships.

This year's national championships drew more than 5,000 students competing in 87 occupational and leadership skill areas.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization of students, teachers and industry representatives serving more than 3,600 technical and high schools and two-year colleges. Through education and standardization programs, SkillsUSA seeks to provide qualified workers for America’s trade, technical and skilled service occupations.

As an official sponsor of the SkillsUSA organization, ALLDATA sends representatives to judge the annual automotive competitions at the California regional and state levels, then again at the National finals. ALLDATA also provides the Electronic Service Information test station.

“Our involvement with the SkillsUSA organization at the regional, state and national levels gives ALLDATA an unparalleled opportunity to invest in the future of the automotive industry,” says Rich Diegle, ALLDATA product manager and SkillsUSA automotive committee member.

ALLDATA provides manufacturers’ service and repair information, shop management software and customer relations tools for the automotive repair and collision industries.

SkillsUSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is cited as a "successful model of employer-driven youth development training program" by the U.S. Department of Labor.
