Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Curtis Schneekloth investor relations director. In his new position, he will serve as a spokesman on financial issues when communicating with stock market analysts and investors.
Schneekloth "shows a keen understanding of Cooper's operations, as well as offering a mix of international and entrepreneurial experiences," says Chief Financial Officer Phil Weaver.
The lead accountant in Cooper's Strategic Planning department since January 2006, Schneekloth joined Cooper in June 2003 as senior internal auditor.
Previously, he worked as a consultant in Prague, Czech Republic; as financial director and partner in XM sro, a Prague-based importer; and in auditing positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Prague and Deloitte & Touche in Houston, Texas.
