Zolotarev in, Gurin out at Amtel-Vredestein

Moscow, Russia-based Amtel-Vredestein N.V. has appointed Peter Zolotarev to replace departing CEO Alexei Gurin.

Zolotarev, who serves as the CEO of Russian Machines, will join Amtel's executive board on July 1.

Gurin, who joined Amtel in 2001 and was named CEO in 2004, will leave the company "to pursue other opportunities," say Amtel officials.
