Carl Casalbore has left Continental Tire North America Inc. The industry veteren served as director of PLT (Passenger Light Truck Replacement Division) dealer sales for the last two years.

While the company works to replace Casalbore, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Andreas Gerstenberger will serve as acting Director.

"Carl Casalbore has been an asset to our company and played a key role during a pivotal time as we positioned CTNA for success," says Gerstenberger. "We are grateful for his service to CTNA and our customers, and we wish him the best of luck.

"Moving forward, we will continue working to strengthen our position in North America. We will continue to implement our three-year marketing strategy and introduce new ideas and creative products using a consistent approach that focuses on superior customer service."

Casalbore was responsible for the development and management of the independent tire dealer sales channel for the PLT Division. He joined Continental in 2005 following six years at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.

Casalbore joined Cooper in 1999 after a 20-year stint at Pirelli Tire North America Inc.
