April 24, 2007

The New England Tire & Service Association's recent convention and trade show drew nearly 450 registered attendees, a record for the group.

In addition, 95 exhibitors set up at the association's trade show.

The event was held April 13-15 in Uncasville, Conn., and included a variety of seminars, including workshops on tire pressure monitoring systems and nitrogen inflation.

"We also has two dealer panel discussions," says Spencer Carruthers, the group's vice president. "One was on profiting during lean times."
