Labor contract negotiators from Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) and the United Steelworkers are back at the bargaining table.
The parties resumed talks on March 12 following a break to analyze several issues.
"We're making some progress, (but) we're looking at a lot of complex issues," a BFNT spokesman recently told moderntiredealer.com. "Drafting proposals and studying the issues is taking some time."
A new contract will cover five BFNT tire manufacturing plants, as well as two industrial products factories.
