Due to rising raw materials and energy costs, Pirelli Tire North America is raising prices by up to 6% on its line of passenger tires and up to 9% on its light truck tires.
The amount of the increase will vary by product line and/or size. The new prices will be introduced during April 2007.
Hankook Tire America Corp. previously announced it was raising prices by up to 7% on its full line of passenger, high performance and light truck tires on April 1, the same day Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will raise prices (up to 4%) on all of its consumer tires.
