Toyo extends contract with off-road racing series in Wisconsin

Feb. 22, 2007

Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. has extended its sponsorship of Crandon International Off-Road Raceway through 2008. Toyo became a major sponsor of the Crandon, Wis., track in 2005.

In addition, Toyo has become a contingency sponsor for the Forrest County Potawatomi Chairman's Cup Heavy Metal Challenge and the Borg Warner Shootout in Crandon. The FCP Chairman's Cup race is run in June and is the longest-running challenge race of its kind in the United States.

Crandon International Off-Road Raceway is a highly popular short course off-road racing venue that is part of the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) Series.

"Crandon is the epicenter of short course off-road racing and is supported by an extremely enthusiastic community and its spectators," says Stan Chen, Toyo's manager of events and motorsports.
