TBC Corp. has promoted Lyle Symonds to president of its Treadways Corp. division, in addition to making several other top-level personnel promotions.
Symonds most recently held the position of senior vice president, Eldorado Division, at Treadways.
In related news, TBC has named Erik Olsen its executive vice president. Olsen will retain his titles as TBC chief marketing officer and president of TBC's Carroll Tire wholesale unit.
TBC has named Gary Paulson president of its Private Brands division. He most recently served as senior vice president of sales in that division.
In addition, Joe Franklin has been promoted to vice president of distribution for TBC's wholesale division. He will be responsible for the Memphis, Tenn., distribution operations of TBC Private Brands, Tire Kingdom Inc. and Treadways.
"TBC is now positioned to move forward and continue to grow (its) private label business," says TBC Wholesale CEO and President Ken Dick.
