Polyurethane tire fill manufacturer Arnco says it will soon announce the development of a new flatproofing material for off-road vehicles "that will have significant ecological impact."
The new tire filling material is scheduled to be announced at the upcoming MINExpo trade show in Las Vegas on Sept. 22.
"Patents have been applied for and field and independent laboratory testing have been successfully completed on this technology that will have a major impact on both tire dealers and equipment operators," say Arnco officials.
“Because of the lower cost and the fact that this product is more eco-friendly, we also expect the demand for flatproofing to increase further once this product enters the marketplace."
The new material is "largely produced" from renewable resources.
