Miami, Fla.-based importer/exporter Tire Group International (TGI) has hired Willie Kramer to be vice president of its newly formed Wholesale Domestic Division.
A 25-year tire wholesale veteran, Kramer has worked for Miami-based Martino Tire and most recently with Tire Wholesale Warehouse.
"His knowledge and relationships in the industry will allow TGI to reach its strategic objective, which is to have a much stronger presence in the domestic distribution of tires, particularly in Florida," say TGI officals.
In related news, TGI is working to secure additional major brand tire lines. In preparation, the company recently moved its headquarters to a new 200,000-square-foot distribution center.
TGI also has added more delivery routes and expanded its delivery fleet to provide daily service in the South Florida market.
