Groupe Michelin plans to end tire production at its factory in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
"Short-time working measures already introduced for employees at the plant will be extended until the end of May 2007," say Michelin officials.
Michelin will maintain its sales operations and plantations in Nigeria.
