Kumho in 2014: Here's what to expect

Harry Choi, Kumho Tire U.S.A.'s CEO and president, was pretty transparent to attendees at the 2013 Kumho Dealer Meeting in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

He admitted Kumho had lost some of its focus, and needed to get back to the basics in an attempt to improve customer service and increase sales. He also revealed, step by step, how he was going to do that.

Choi knows it will be a slow process, and thanked the dealers for not only being loyal, but also willing to "share" in the pain during the resurgence.

In an interview with Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich, Choi outlined his plans, which include new products and a revamped associate dealer program.

To read what Kumho dealers -- and potental dealers -- can expect from the company in the near future, check out Ulrich's latest blog, "Kumho's plans for 2014: new products, a new VP of sales and more."
