Permatex YouTube video earns AAPEX award

Permatex received an award for excellence in business-to-business communication at the 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Nov. 5-7 in Las Vegas.

Permatex received the 2013 Automotive Communications Award for Best-Of-Class “Best Use of YouTube Video” for their video entitled "Manic Mechanics." The video was created for Permatex in cooperation with Barolin & Spencer Marketing Communications.

The annual Automotive Communications Awards program, sponsored by the Car Care Council Women’s Board and Automotive Communication Council, highlights outstanding advertising, marketing, and public relations activities on behalf of aftermarket organizations. Over 250 entries were received in 2013.

Permatex’s entertaining video features a mock-competition between two mechanics, both trying to repair a leaking valve cover. The video increased views to the brand page by over 3,300 views in less than one month. To view it, click here.
