Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. announced that its new Ventus S1 evo2 SUV tire will come as OE on the newly developed SUV version of the BMW X5. The Ventus S1 evo2 was launched at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas.
Hankook says that following the earlier success of the MINI, BMW 1, 3 and 5 series, the BMW X5 is already the fifth model from the BMW Group to be produced with Hankook as original equipment.
The Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 will also be available on the replacement market as of spring 2014 in sizes from 17 to 22 inches covering aspect ratios 60 to 30 with the tread widths from 225 to 315.
