The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added its 1000th new member for the year. This is the first time the organization has reached this milestone in its 93-year history.
In November, Leipold Tire, a family-owned independent tire dealer with two locations in the Akron, Ohio area, became the association’s 1000th member of 2013.
“Once I became aware of all that TIA has to offer, it was an easy decision to become a member. I know that TIA is working on behalf of small businesses like mine so it is well worth the annual membership dues,” says Dennis Leipold, owner.
TIA membership is available to all segments of the tire industry and suppliers who furnish equipment, material, or services to the industry.
“We continue to deliver value to our members through our training programs, our advocacy work, and member benefits programs," says Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.
