Bridgestone Corp. will raise prices on its replacement tires sold in Japan on Sept. 1, including a 5% hike for passenger and light truck tires.
Other increases include hikes of 7% for truck and bus tires, 10% for OTR tires, and 7% to 10% for industrial vehicle tires.
Bridgestone says the hikes are needed to counter escalating raw material costs.
