Value + durability = Duramas from TGI

Nov. 10, 2013

Home is where the heart is. And in the case of Tire Group International LLC (TGI), it's also the home of the new Duramas brand.

TGI added Duramas to its stable of house brands earlier this month. Duramas is a green passenger car radial that was developed "in order to offer our customers an economical alternative in a handful of high volume metric sizes," says the company.

The brand initially is available in six sizes.

13-inch: 165/65R13, 165/70R13 and 175/70R13;

14-inch: 175/65R14, 185/60R14 and 185/65R14.

"We will add additional high volume sizes, such as LT2257516 and LT2457516, in the light truck segment during the first half of 2014. As the name implies, Duramas will offer economy while still providing optimum tread life for a tire of its class."

TGI will exclusively distribute Duramas branded tires throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, as it meets European Reach Standards. TGI will offer the aforementioned brand on a direct factory basis and will also offer a fill-in program from its warehouse in Miami.
