Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. announces that the company-supported Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT will perform in the "1st MACAU DRIFT" drifting exhibition (sponsored by The Venetian Macau and Soft Commerce, with support from D1 Corporation and Sunpros) held at The Venetian Macau in Macau, China, November 15- 17), 2013.
Scheduled for the week following the final round of the D1 Grand Prix Series at Odaiba in Tokyo (November 9), "1st MACAU DRIFT" will be the first-ever indoor drifting show. Unlike a regular competition, this exhibition will combine lighting, audio, video and even a DJ and dancers into a 45-minute attraction that will be performed twice per day over three days at The Hotel Venetian Macau Expo Hall as a completely groundbreaking form of entertainment.
Support drivers Akinori Utsumi and Yoshifumi Tadokoro will represent Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT.
Utsumi and Tadokoro will unleash a high-level driving performance that is sure to stimulate excitement and generate buzz about the D1 Grand Prix Series, which is gaining notice even outside Japan for the unrivaled drifting skill of its competing drivers.
