Coker Tire Co. has officially launched the American Classic “Bias-Look” Radial Whitewall at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The steel-belted radial is designed to fit collector cars from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s.

CEO Corky Coker said the American Classic bias-look whitewall radial that is sure to find its way onto thousands of collector cars around the world, thanks to a wide range of sizes: 6.50R13, 7.50R14, 8.00R14, 5.60R15, 6.70R15, 7.10R15, 7.60R15, 8.00R15 and 8.20R15.

The tire offers the tall and narrow profile of a bias ply tire, combined with the modern qualities of a radial tire. Available in nine sizes, the new line of American Classic radials offer fitment on a number of popular applications, such as the Ford Thunderbird, Chevrolet Corvette, Cadillac and many others.

The company says the range of sizes provides options for enthusiasts using 13-, 14- and 15-inch wheels, who have always been forced to choose between a bias ply or radial tire. The variety of sizes also gives hot rodders and custom car builders plenty of options for big-n-little combinations, such as 5.60R15 for the front and 8.20R15 for the rear.

Coker Tire says the new American Classic radials are made in the U.S. and are thoroughly tested to ensure superb quality for collector vehicles.

Earlier this week the tire earned the SEMA New Products Showcase award in the Tire and Related Product category.

Also this week, the SEMA Wheel and Tire Council named Coker the recipient of its 2013 Hall of Fame award.
