Nov. 7, 2013

The Wheel and Tire Council (WTC) of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) named Corky Coker the recipient of its 2013 Hall of Fame award. The WTC honored Coker at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev.

Coker is president of Coker Tire Co. of Chattanooga, Tenn. The award was presented by Joe Findeis, WTC chair elect, at an industry reception hosted by the council.

“The recipient of this prestigious award represents the best in the industry…a person that has committed him or herself to do things the right way and find innovative ways to make business better for all of us,” said Findeis.

The SEMA WTC Hall of Fame was founded to honor and recognize those outstanding individuals in the wheel and tire industry whose creativity, dignity, integrity, industriousness and accomplishments on a national basis have enhanced the status of the industry while significantly contributing to its growth.

In 2012, the WTC recognized Findeis with the Hall of Fame award. He is the founder and president of Wheel Consultants Inc. and the creator of The Ultimate Wheel and Tire Plus Sizing Guide.
