Hankook Tire America Corp. will be showing four new tires, highlighting a concept tire, and previewing 2014 motorsports plans at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Nov. 5-8, booth # 43101.
The company will introduce:
* a high performance all-season tire for passenger cars;
* a premium summer ultra-high performance tire for SUVs and crossover vehicles; and
* a high performance all-season tire for SUVs, crossover vehicles and light trucks.
The new tires will be unveiled at a press conference on Nov. 6.
In addition, the company will showcase its Hankook iFlex tire concept. The iFlex is made from up to 95% recyclable materials, consumes less energy during use leading to lower rolling resistance and improved vehicle fuel economy, and does not require air like a conventional tire.
Other activities include a Hankook Formula Drift driver meet-and-greet and autograph signing session on the first day of the show.
Hankook will also host the winner of its recently completed ‘Vegas Like a Champion’ Facebook sweepstakes.
The campaign gave entrants the opportunity to ‘like’ the Hankook Facebook page to enter and also upload entrant generated Hankook-branded images. The winner will be attending the show as Hankook’s guest and will have an all-access pass for a behind-the-scene look at Hankook’s planned activities.
