Alltrade expands Powerbuilt Tools line

Oct. 28, 2013

Alltrade Tools LLC announced that is has expanded its line of Powerbuilt tools that will help repair technicians get the job done easier, faster and more safely. The new equipment will be on display at the 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Nov. 5-7 at the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, booth #1025.

The newest products from Powerbuilt include the Xtra Low Profile Jack (pictured). The lowest jack on the market, it slips under bodies as low as 2-3/4 inches but rises up to 15-1/2 inches. It features the patent-pending locking safety bar that holds the load without jack stands.

The TripleLift Jack with multiple patents is the only jack that works on cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs, notes Alltrade. The TriPleXCreeper can be quickly braced in three different positions: flat for access under a vehicle; low seat position with a back rest for support; and a sturdy, standard-height roller seat.

The Quick T Driver Set with a patented, folding driver instantly toggles between straight and T-handle without removing the driver from the fastener. The Billy Club is a patent-pending invention that Alltrade says is the simplest way to change a tire, or access suspensions or brakes. The handle houses two-piece universal flip sockets and an extension bar. It fits all common SAE and metric lug sizes and gives users 60% more leverage.

The Quick Switch Internal/External Snap Ring Pliers have a switch to toggle between external and internal functions. A quick change lever lets techs easily remove and install tips. Four pairs of tips are included to handle snap rings with external sizes from ¼-inch to 2-inch and internal sizes from 3/8-inch to 2-inch.

The Self Adjusting Oil Filter Pliers automatically adjust to the size of the filter and tighten as the tool is turned. Techs can do the job with one hand, three times faster than with conventional filter pliers, notes Alltrade. It fits any style of filter, from 2-1/4-inch to 4-3/4-inch.
