The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that Albert Wynn, former congressman of Maryland’s 4th District, will be a special guest and give some brief remarks at the TIA Cocktail Hour in Las Vegas, Nev., on Nov. 4, 2013.
The event is one of TIA’s pre-Global Tire Expo activities.
Al Wynn served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 16 years. During the majority of his time as a congressman, TIA says he was an integral part of the House’s Energy and Commerce Committee sponsoring legislation as the 2007 Energy Act which included a tire fuel efficiency consumer information program.
“Congressman Wynn has been a tremendous supporter of the tire industry and we are honored that he will be joining us in Las Vegas,” says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. “I encourage all of our members to join us at the TIA Cocktail Hour to hear Mr. Wynn’s remarks and to network with industry colleagues from around the world.”
