Tire Discounters to remodel more stores

Sept. 25, 2013

Tire Discounters Inc. announced it will remodel multiple locations in the blueprint of its “Store of the Future” design launched earlier this year.

The company says the updated stores will have remodeled showrooms and waiting rooms, energy saving updates, and a variety of features focused on the customer's comfort.

Two locations in Cincinnati and Troy, Ohio, have recently been updated. Tire Discounters says they are the first in a series of store remodels in the next few years that will serve as a template to update existing stores.

“We've had incredible feedback from our customers about our new store design,” says Jamie Ward, executive vice president.

“Tire Discounters plans to make the updates throughout our footprint so we can provide all of our customers this revolutionary store experience, while continuing to deliver the superior customer service they to expect.”

The company says comfort, transparency, and efficiency are all enhanced by a variety of new features, and the store design and construction set new industry standards for use of eco-friendly materials and energy efficient technology.
