Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has announced that Tomoshige “Tomo” Mizutani will become president of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. (TTHA), located in Cypress, Calif., effective Oct. 1, 2013.
Mizutani has led the Nitto brand in the U.S. since 1992 and has served as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. since July 1, 2005. He will continue to serve as a corporate officer for Toyo Tire & Rubber Co.
Current president Noriyuki Dan will continue to serve as the chief financial officer of TTHA. Keiko Brockel, current chief operating officer of Nitto, will be appointed president in addition to her role as president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc.
TTHA is the wholly-owned North American subsidiary of Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. of Osaka, Japan.
