Continental Tire the Americas LLC announced that Javier Mendoza has been named head of the CAMEXCA (Caribbean, Mexico and Central America) market for Continental Tire de Mexico.
In addition to this role he will also be responsible for heading up the passenger and light truck tire (PLT) replacement sales business.
Prior to his new assignment, Mendoza was head of commercial vehicle tire (CVT) sales for the CAMEXCA market. He also has served in a variety of roles as a manager of various areas of Continental’s tire business.
“During the past eight years, Javier has strengthened our relationship and business with our customers and improved Continental’s presence in the in the CAMEXCA market,” says Dr. Jochen Etzel, CEO of Continental Tire the Americas LLC.
“Mendoza brings a great deal of sales experience to our business in the CAMEXCA region.”
Mendoza was a speaker at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo in July.
