Paulo Ferrari, Pirelli Tire North America Inc.'s chairman and CEO, outlined the company's strategy during the recent launch of the Pirelli P Zero Nero GT. His goals are very aggressive, to save the least.

Since taking over two years ago, he has focused on independent tire dealers to sell his products. To that end, he has worked at improving fill rates and focused on premium tire development. Did you know that research and development represents 7% of Pirelli's sales?

Ferrari also has taken advantage of the parent company's original equpment strategy.
