Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, a business unit of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC, announces the Firestone Drives America Tour, a cross-country road show that introduces new Firestone commercial truck tires to fleets and drivers, offers professional drivers a chance to enter a sweepstakes for a Class 8 tractor, and celebrates the Firestone brand.
The Firestone Drives America Tour begins July 16, stopping at select minor league baseball and NCAA college football games along the way. This tour is part of the “Those With Drive, Drive a Firestone” campaign, which includes activities across the United States celebrating the brand’s “F-shield” and the technology that leads Firestone innovation, according to the company.
“This promotional tour showcases both the excitement and admiration of the Firestone name and our latest Firestone-brand tires – the FS591 steer, FD691 drive, and FT491 all-position radials. We are eager to bring this innovation to customers across the country through this unique tour,” says Matthew Stevenson, vice president of marketing, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions.
The promotional tour gives Class 8-CDL holders the opportunity to enter the Drive a Firestone Sweepstakes. The grand prize is a special Firestone Edition Class 8 tractor, which will be on display during the tour.
The Firestone Drives America tour will stop at select minor league baseball games this summer and NCAA college football venues this fall. The trucks provide attendees with the opportunity to see the special Firestone Edition Class 8 truck to be given away in the Drive a Firestone Sweepstakes as well as the company’s new line of Firestone eco-Products.
Tour attendees can talk to Firestone experts about how to achieve a lower cost per mile and any other questions they may have about Firestone tires. The first road show stop is July 16 in Akron, Ohio, at the Akron Aeros game, Canal Park Stadium.
