Renezeder sets nine race winning streak on General Tires
Apparently a 100 race win record was not enough for Team GT’s Carl Renezeder. During Rounds 7 & 8 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) at Miller Motorsports Park, Renezeder made history yet again by winning his ninth Pro-4 race in a row on General’s GRABBER tire.
The nine-race win streak dates back to Round 15 of the 2012 season and was almost extended to 10 in Round 8 but Renezeder fell just shy of a win settling for second.
“It was my own fault – total driver error,” said Renezeder following the Round 8 race. “Going into turn four, I went to set the track and hit the wrong brake pedal. So frustrating!”
Team GT’s veteran driver handily broke Kyle LeDuc’s old streak of six wins set back in 2012. Renezeder's most recent achievement also adds to his overall career wins bringing his total to 112 – and still counting.
“Congratulations to Carl and his entire team on breaking yet another record,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for General Tire. “We are proud to support Carl and his racing efforts and we take a lot of pride in the fact that our Red Letter GRABBERS have helped drive him to victory lane and into the history books. Carl is the epitome of the General Tire brand and we’re looking forward to setting many more records with him.”
Fans can find the same grip and durability that Renezeder relies on during a LOORRS race in General’s GRABBER line of tires. For more information, or to find a dealer near you, visit www.generaltire.com.
