Goodyear’s Stewart is a Woman of Achievement

Faith Stewart, community affairs manager for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., was honored by the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio with a 2013 Woman of Achievement award.

The award, presented each year since 1999, recognizes women who have a history of encouraging success among women, breaking down barriers, mentoring, taking risks to overcome obstacles, and supporting the progress of women toward full participation in economic, community and family life.

Stewart joined Goodyear in 1982 and has led Goodyear’s community relations and charitable outreach activities since 2003. These activities include the company’s financial support to non-profit organizations in the communities around the globe where Goodyear has major plants and offices.

Stewart has a long record of community service. She is a graduate of Leadership Akron, a member of the Leadership Akron Alumni Association, and a past recipient of the Women’s Network Women of Professional Excellence Award. She currently serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Council and is a past trustee board member of Akron Summit Community Action Inc. and the Better Business Bureau of Akron Inc.

Women’s Network of Northeast Ohio is a non-profit organization encouraging and supporting the progress of women toward full participation in economic, community and family life.
