In order to provide more convenient service to its local tire dealers, Tire Centers LLC (TCi) has opened a new distribution center in Sunnyvale, Calif.
“Our customers in the Northern California market will benefit from this new center and additional deliveries per day to their retail locations,” says Jim Borkey, vice president of sales for TCi.
Located at 680-A Kifer Rd., the 40,000-square-foot distribution center provides local tire retailers with brands including Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Pirelli, Maxxis, Hankook, Greenball and Omni.
Headquartered in Duncan, S.C., TCi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelin North America Inc., and comprises two divisions -- distribution and commercial. The distribution division serves passenger and light truck retailers through its 86 distribution centers across the country.
TCi supports its commercial division’s truck and earthmover customers from 65+ commercial centers located throughout the United States. The company also operates multiple state-of-the-art Michelin Retread Technologies plants nationwide.
