CMA breaks ground on a new distribution center

China Manufacturers Alliance LLC (CMA) recently held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new warehouse and distribution center, located in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. The company estimates the facility will be completed by November of this year.

Situated on approximately six acres near the intersection of 8th Street and Vineyard Avenue, the facility will occupy more than 129,000 square feet of under-roof storage. The state-of-the-art building design includes dock-high and grade-level bay doors with stalls for parking additional trailers.

To achieve a lower carbon footprint, natural lighting and exhaust systems will be integrated into the building’s design.

“Rancho Cucamonga is an ideal and strategic location to support our expanding distribution needs,” says Aaron Murphy, vice president of CMA. “The city of Rancho Cucamonga and the developers of the new Phelan Center have collaborated to make sure all our functional requirements have been addressed.

"This will be our second location in North America, and we have plans to expand in the near future, building additional warehouse locations inside and outside of the United States.”
