June 8, 2008

Pathway Polymers Inc., which produces TyrFil, has added two managers at its Chattanooga, Tenn., operations facilities.

Scott Snider has dual roles: director of manufacturing and site manager. Snider comes to Pathway with more than 22 years experience in the chemical industry.

Ray Whitfield was appointed quality control manager, and will be responsible for spearheading the company's ISO:9001 initiative that is scheduled for finalization in early 2009. A certified quality lead auditor, he has more than 20 years experience in the chemical industry.

Pathway Polymers, formerly Hyperlast North America, is a subsidiary of Vita Group, a British company. The subsidiary's 2007 revenues exceeded $34 million dollars, and the company says it is anticipating double-digit growth in 2008.
