A golf tournament has been planned for the Georgia Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association (GTDRA) annual convention July 19-21, 2013, at the One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Fla.
The golf outing will be held on Friday afternoon. Other features of the convention include receptions, educational sessions, a banquet and a board of directors meeting.
Three educational sessions will be presented Saturday morning. “Don’t be a victim,” covering harassment and discrimination in the workplace, will be presented by Federated Insurance; “Driverside,” concerning how to market and advertise to increase car count and retain customers, will be offered by Advanced Auto Parts; and “Financial benchmarks” will be presented by Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. It will offer a professional analysis of financial benchmarks including liquidity, leverage, expenses and more.
Saturday night the GTDRA Foundation will honor this year’s scholarship winners and two people will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Entertainment will be provided on Saturday night by ‘Three On a String.’

The deadline to get the group rate at the hotel is June 20. Attendees who complete and return their registration forms to the GTDRA office by June 20 will be included in a raffle drawing for $200. Registration forms are due at the GTDRA no later than July 5.
