SEMA revises Street Performance Council

May 8, 2013

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Street Performance Council (SPC) is evolving to focus on helping members succeed by using new trends and technologies.

As part of this evolution, the group’s name is changing to the Emerging Trends & Technology Network (ETTN) and will be open free of charge to all employees of SEMA member companies.

"In recent times, the SPC successfully led the way for other SEMA councils and member companies in identifying and understanding emerging trends and technology,” said Nathan Ridnouer, SEMA VP of councils and membership. “While the group was delivering great value to the membership, its name was not representative of what the group was accomplishing. The changes and the new name better reflect the group’s mission and will allow them to grow and be even more effective in their efforts.”

The ETTN’s mission statement is to identify, understand and communicate emerging trends and technologies to help member improve. The network will do this in a variety of ways, including building and fostering a community of like-minded members who share an interest in learning and gaining competitive advantages to help their businesses improve. To learn how to join the ETTN or for more details, visit www.sema.org/ettn or contact Bryan Harrison at [email protected], 909-970-6691.
