DENSO will present at SAE World Congress

Will stop/start gain consumer acceptance? How do you make a thermal system more efficient? How do you keep drivers’ focused?

DENSO will tackle these industry questions during three panel sessions at the SAE World Congress in Detroit, April 16-17, 2013. The company also will present 15 technical papers throughout the duration of the Congress.

DENSO’s panel session “Driver Distraction Regulation and Autonomous Driving” takes place April 16 at 1:30 p.m. Kazuoki Matsugatani, director of corporate research and development, DENSO Corp. will talk about driver focus and how that relates to human machine interface technologies and the autonomous vehicle.

Other sessions include: Start-Stop is Coming to North America, but will it Start or Stop Sales; FEV Powertrain Innovation Forum; and Take a Load Off: The Increasing Importance of Energy Load Management in Tomorrow's Powertrain Solutions.

DENSO will present 15 technical papers in the areas of powertrain, thermal, electrical, electronics, information and communication, and safety.
