Federal Corp. recently announced the appointment of Rito Marketing as its exclusive tire distributor in Malaysia.
Rito Marketing, based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, will help Federal's efforts to grow the sport of drifting in the country. It also will help raise awareness of the Federal brand.
The company was actively involved in the Federal Tyres Pro AM Drift Series 2013 at the recent Speed City KL in Malaysia. The drift series is a "driver development" series for the prestigious Formula Drift Asia Series.
The battle was intense throughout the event, starting with the qualifying session. Mervyn Nakamura led the pack with a score of 78 points among the qualifiers. His FD3s, equipped with Federal RS-R tires, carried him to first place finish in round two.

The third round of the competition will be held on May 11.
The exclusive agreement with Rito Marketing follows on the heels of Federal's strategic partnership with East Terminal, the exclusive distributor of Federal's full-range of products in Russia.
