Tire Factory dealers run the show in Portland

Feb. 25, 2013

Northwest Tire Factory LLC continues to grow. It has 211 stores, but the sky's the limit, according to Chairman Eric Gill.

At the group's annual dealer meeting in Portland, growth was just one of the wide range of topics discussed. Attendees were privvy to new warranties (Gold and Platinum), a new tire (Cooper Discoverer H/T3), possibly a new corporate standing (involving C-Corp status) and a pretty cool award (Vendor of the Year). Even pricing -- at least on the Web -- was open to debate.

With more than 200 stores, Northwest Tire Factory is one of the largest program groups in the United States. It may be the largest in the Northwest, and, as it expands south and east, may one day be the largest nationwide.
