Indian tire manufacturer Apollo Tyres Ltd. has opened its first full-service, company-owned commercial tire and vehicle center in the southern part of India.
Apollo plans to open four more commercial tire outlets within the next few months. The sites will offer tire service (including nitrogen inflation), tire/wheel assembly balancing and vehicle alignment.
"With changing market dynamics related to newer vehicle platforms, more multi-axles and increased radialization, consumers need to be guided through their purchase decisions," says Satish Sharma, who runs Apollo's Indian operations.
