Robinair wants you to find refrigerant leaks fast!

Feb. 22, 2013

The Infrared (IR) Refrigerant Leak Detector (P/N 22791) from Robinair, a division of Service Solutions LLC, features an advanced infrared sensor designed to last a minimum of 10 years.

The detector offers three sensitivity levels down to 0.15 oz./year, and automatically recalibrates in highly contaminated areas to help pinpoint the exact location of the leak.

The IR Refrigerant Leak Detector won’t trigger on oil or moisture and senses CFC, HFC, HCFC blends and HFO-1234yf refrigerants.

It comes with an eight-hour lithium Ion battery, and the visual alert and peak button make it easy to find leaks in noisy environments. Other features include an audible alert with mute button, magnetic hanger to easily hang the unit during leak repair, and a durable carrying case.

The IR Refrigerant Leak Detector meets new SAE J2913 standard for 1234yf and previousSAE J2791 standard for 134A.
