East Bay Tire opens commercial facility

Feb. 6, 2013

East Bay Tire Co. has opened its ninth commercial location in San Jose, Calif.

The company's EBT Service Division opened its first location in Fairfield, Calif., in 2000 and now encompasses six service locations across Northern and Central California and three in Hawaii.

“As we’ve been growing more and more in the Bay Area, we really needed a place that allowed us to perform our complete range of services. This facility gives us a great location and allows us to provide our customers with quality service that meets East Bay Tire standards,” says Jay Ress, general manager, commercial division.

Services offered at each location range from in-house and mobile tire services to retreading and fleet tire maintenance programs.

East Bay Tire was founded in 1946 and is a fourth-generation, family-owned tire wholesaler, exporter and commercial dealer.

The Dawg Pound line of premium construction, agricultural and material handling tires is manufactured exclusively for East Bay Tire Co. and is sold in the U.S. and international markets.
