Discount Tire has opened a new store located at 2131 S. Hustbourne Parkway in Louisville, Ky. The Louisville store is operated by nine employees.
“Customers will likely be attracted by our low prices and selection of tires and wheels,” says Bob Wilcox, store manager. “However, we believe that our customer service and satisfaction guarantee make the difference.”
Wilcox has been with the company for 27 years. The company says it offers the largest tire and custom wheel selection of any tire retailer.
Discount Tire now operates two stores in Kentucky. The new location brings the company’s total store count to 851. Discount Tire recently opened store number 850 in Washington.
At discounttire.com, customers can locate a store, purchase tires, schedule installation appointments, register for e-mail discounts, gain access to safety tips and other helpful information, and even determine tire and wheel size by brand for their vehicle.
Bruce Halle, founder and chairman of Discount Tire, was recently inducted into the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Hall of Fame.
The company is No. 2 on the 2012 MTD 100.
