SEMA Show, aftermath: top dealers, tiremakers and tariffs

Nov. 12, 2009

Another SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association if you want to get technical) Show is over, and, according to Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich, you were square if you weren't there.

Why? Because the biggest names in our industry were on hand. Not all of them had booths. Not all of them even made it to the trade show floor.

But they were sharing information or making deals or learning about how the Chinese consumer tire tariffs are affecting others during what is appropriately called Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week.

The 2009 SEMA Show, held recently in Las Vegas, Nev., was a success for attendees and (most) exhibitors alike. Find out why the show was so prestigious by clicking the link to "2009 SEMA Show-goers: a 'who's who' of the tire industry," Ulrich's latest B.O.B. blog, on www.moderntiredealer.com.
