The Independent Tire Dealers Group (ITDG) has endorsed Aftersoft Network N.A. Inc.'s VAST point-of-sale software.
The VAST Enterprise Retail system will provide the more than 110 ITDG members with a sales tool for both tire and auto service transactions, such as vehicle-specific factory scheduled maintenance, "enabling members to increase sales and overall profitability," says CEO Jerry Johnson.
One of the VAST POS system's key features is that it is designed to allow single- and multi-location tire dealers to electronically connect to their respective tire distributors and national and regional parts suppliers to access inventory and pricing data and place orders.
