Taylor retires from Toyo Tire

Dave Taylor, vice president of technical services for Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., has retired. His position has yet to be filled by the company.

During his tenure, Taylor played a key role in the pioneering of niche sizes and products such as the Toyo Open Country M/T and Proxes S/T. His long list of accomplishments also includes restructuring the product development system and mentoring many young engineers.

"We thank Dave for 23 years of dedicated service to Toyo Tires, and we wish him well in his retirement," says Yasushi Takagi, president of Toyo Tire U.S.A.
